Hello Folks! One of my biggest discoveries upon arriving and staying in the grand ole' Colorado Springs 719 area is the suprise that there is a world that reads the blog. The lack of comments often gets me to thinking that my words are hitting the web and never to be heard of again. Therefore i often do not update this wonderful news reel of my life. Yet every time i visit VWO i get many people telling me..."I READ IT EVERYDAY, YOU NEED TO UPDATE!" So i shall. Thank you for your reading and even though the comments are scarce i shall keep up the efforts, with good internet or bad, someone to talk to on the phone while i am waiting for the pictures to load or not, and finally whether i feel like it or not. Today's post is rather important to me. It does not come filled with interesting pictures of lions and tigers and bears but of words from my heart. I hope that i can convey my feelings and thoughts to the best of my ability.
This month i have found something completly new. I was amazed beyond thinking capability. Before i go into my most recent visit to youth let me give a very brief recap of the past. In October i was very impressed with youth, the attendance, the amount of new comers, and the altars were packed! After the service i was disappointed because the reaching out part and keeping the people in seemed to be lacking not only in with the other teens in the youth group but mainly with me.I was at youth only 2 Saturday nights during conference, but these were my observations and i was most guilty! This Saturday it was like something had really changed. Not only were many people reaching out, but it wasn't because they were told to. It looked like 100% of a want to. There are many new teens, but not just new teens but new teens that i, personally, just don't know, everyone else knows them and is friends with them. There are some cliques but what youth group who have known each other for years doesn't have them. I don't justify it, but alot of us met each other in one year old nursery. Youth is going great! The leaders are spectacular. The prayer room was on fire. I was shocked at how many teens were there early for prayer. Either God is moving in this generation or we really are just crazy. Jason and Heidi have treated me so well. I thank them very much! They are doing a magnificent job! God is really moving!
I also wanted to say a big thank you to Mrs.Chris she does the oldest Missionettes group and is such a joy! I love you so much and you don't know how much i appreciate you!
And Mrs.Janine. You are so encouraging and your smile is more radiant than ever! i love you so much! thank you for being you (and having jenna and gabby whom i have so much fun with!)
I love you all! Thank you for treating me so well during my trip. Everytime i come to visit you make me feel so loved! THANK YOU!

I was talking with your dad and he said just leave a little note that you read the blog. So here is my note. I love the blog. I see what your saying about youth in our church. I do not go to youth but I can see the change in a lot of young people and how they are entering in more in Sunday morning church. I loved the littel chat about africa in missionettes and i would love to hear about when you guys start yours up. take pictures and let us know how everything is going and if you need anything. Let me know the dates you will be back so i can try to schedule a missionette camp that time. Loved seeing you and we are praying for you guys.
God Bless Love Lynda P
