Lets get this party started!

Yo its party time up in the Jones’ crib! With the country music bumpin and nertz bein’ played while we are waitin for the guests who are comin’. Craziness is quickly stirring and everyone is ready for the chicken pot pie comin out of the oven which really does just look (and taste) the BOMB! After everyone is done shoveling veggies and chicken into their mouths, its time for the cake to be delivered and the recipient to make a wish! The lights are turned down low and without a missing a beat the whole gang starts off, everyone in keys of their own “Happy Birthday to you… Happy birthday to LAINNA…” a then a big gust of air comes from the mouth of the birthday girl. Her wish almost got granted if it weren’t for that one candle, I think daddy said a prayer for fear of what the wish might have been…*cough cough* a new mustang out of daddy’s bank account. As the cake gets dished up to all of the hip guests, including the Sanchez family and Pastor Safari’s fam, lain grabs her cake ready to dig in. With a fork in hand she goes at it. I repeat, she gets her OWN cake and is planning on eating it all. If only she knew how hard it really was. The pizza had her a few nights ago but even the pizza wasn’t covered with a thick layer of frosting. She is used to sitting on the couch with left over frosting and a spoon but for some reason this time the sweet is slowing her down. You can tell in her face that the taste of the cake is simply “off the hook”, still bite after bite her face becomes more red and mom starts looking down at her quickly growing stomach. Finally half way threw she has surrendered her long awaited cake and saves the last half for tomorrow. The end of the night is filled with scenes from Princess Diaries 2, talk of how the tent will go up, and lain playing with her favorite little girl, Daisy. What a wonderful and FUN night it was! The rest of the year she will have the sweet truth of being able to say she is 16 to remember this wonderful night by.

p.s. third person is really hard to write in and I don’t think I will try that again! the pictures were completely painless to put on WOO HOO.(we will see how they publish) And all is swell. I went down and worked at the church today, got a sun burn and a really good work out! I now know what it feels like to bail hay. The only bummer was I was wearing nice clothes not prepared for clearing grass and junk off two acres of land (half ours, half the soccer field we will be using…and volleyball, you know it!) but it was a good day, soon the burn will turn to a tan…yeah baby! So everything is great and I look forward to fillin everyone in about Sunday’s service!! Ciao for now!
