The paragraph below is most unusual. How quickly can you find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think nothing was wrong with it - and in fact, nothing is wrong with it. It is unusual though. Why?
"Gatsby was walking back from a visit down in Branton Hill's manufacturing district on a Saturday night. A busy day's traffic had had its noisy run; and with not many folks in sight, His Honor got along without having to stop to grasp a hand, or talk; for a mayor out of City Hall is a shining mark for any politician. And so, coming to Broadway, a booming bass drum and sounds of singing, told of a small Salvation Army unit carrying on amidst Broadway's night shopping crowds. Gatsby, walking towards that group, saw a young girl, back toward him, just finishing a long, soulful oration ... "

Most left-handed people, such as myself, would say something deep like..."I dunno!" My brain is hurting and it's probably something easy. Question...why is the mayor walking? He's the MAYOR!!! Isn't Branton Hills quite a ways from Broadway? It's night time, how can these musicians see their sheet music? Did they have it memorized? Give me a hint!

i've been reading this over and over...what am i missing...okay, let me read it once more...nope, it didn't help! what kind of name is Gatsby anyway? and where did the mayor come from? it's driving me crazy, but i'll get it!
well i was trying to think of something brilliant to say but that did not work. i am curious about the sentence"for a mayor out of.......any politician" i agree why is the mayor walking?
There is not one single letter 'e'. Not just in this paragraph, but the whole book...
woa weird no "e" thing but my guess is it says not many people in sight and then it has night shopping crowds?? i dont know that book was a little different anyway...toby says you should read more enlightning stuff :) bye
